Developing a Custom Tallow Balm from a Target Product
The project began with a clear target: the client wanted to develop a tallow balm with the same smooth application and comfortable skin feel as a product they already liked.
After evaluating the target product, our team submitted it to the laboratory for further formula analysis and development. The goal was not simply to create another tallow balm, but to closely match the texture and application experience the client expected for their future market launch.
The client specifically highlighted three characteristics they valued: smooth application, no waxy feeling and no noticeable odor.
Packaging Selection Based on the Client’s Market Requirements
Once the product direction was established, the next step was packaging.
The client preferred a 60g format and specifically requested amber glass packaging. Based on these requirements, we sourced suitable packaging options and proposed a 60g amber glass jar with a gold cap.
After reviewing the option, the client approved the packaging direction. We also discussed printing requirements to ensure the finished packaging would present the brand professionally when brought to market. 
From Packaging Approval to Bulk Order
After the formula and packaging direction were confirmed, the project moved quickly toward production.
The client proceeded with payment for the order, allowing our team to begin purchasing packaging materials, preparing artwork and arranging the necessary quality checks before bulk production.
For this project, the client made two payments totaling approximately USD 18,464, demonstrating the transition from product development to a substantial commercial order.
Bulk Production and Filling
With the order confirmed, production moved forward using the approved formula and packaging specifications.
Throughout the manufacturing process, we kept the client updated with real production footage, including filling and packaging progress. The finished balm was filled into the selected amber glass jars and prepared according to the approved project requirements.
This gave the client visibility into how the product moved from laboratory development into actual commercial production.
Market Feedback After Delivery
After receiving the finished products and beginning market activity, the client shared encouraging feedback.
When we followed up regarding product condition and customer response, the client confirmed that the products had arrived in good shape and that customers liked them.
